Early life
Kacy Esther Catanzaro was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, US and grew up in Bellville with her parents Andrew Catanzaro and Kathryn Catanzaro. She has two siblings both sisters. Jessica Catanzaro and Cheryl Catanzaro. She went to Bellville High School. She attended Towson University in Towson Maryland from the year 2009 to 2012 on an athletic scholarship for early childhood education. By the age of 5, she was in gymnastics.
Gymnastics career
Kacy started her training at the edge of 6, she was a junior Olympic gymnast. When she reached level 10 she competed in the 2007 New Jersey level 10 championship there Kacy Finished 5th in the senior A division.
Kacy competed at the New Jersey level 10 state championship in 2008 and there she finished in 3rd position and progressed to the 2008 (JONC) Junior Olympic National Championship. And she placed 23rd but placed 6th on the balance beam.
NCAA
Kacy did her debut in the year 2009 season competing as a gymnast for Towson in Division 1 of (the NCAA) National Collegiate Athletic Association. In the 2009 and 2010s, Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship Kacy helped Towson Tigers win it. In the year 2012 in her senior year, Kacy was named the Southeast Regional Gymnast. She was named for Eastern College Athletic Conference gymnast and was a top-ranked competitor in the conference in 2012.
ANW
FROM February 2013 Kacy worked for Alpha Warrior, an obstacle course gym in San Antonio, Texas. Kacy trained for 2 years for American Ninja Warrior. She was an invited wildcard at the 2013 finals even tho she did not finish her qualifying course in Venice, California.
Casey became the first female to finish the qualifying course of ANW Season 6 in the year 2014. Later in the same year, she competed in the Dallas finals of American Ninja Warrior. To finish a city finals course she became the first woman ever to do it and the second to attempt it after season 5s Jessie Graff.
In the national finals in Las, Vegas Kacy Failed first to stage.
Subsequent season
Kacy Failed to finish the course after falling on cargo crossing in the 2015 Houston qualifying round season 7. She was given a wild card spot in Vegas and she failed because of a mistimed trampoline jump at propeller bar Stage 1 in the National finals.
Kacy got an invitation to compete in the 32nd competition of the original Japanese Ninja Warrior in 2016. She played well and stage 1s 8 obstacles She finished but was time out on the final obstacle.
2016s Oklahoma City Qualifying round season 8 Kacy Could not finish the course and fell on an early obstacle but was given a wild card spot in Las Vegas. In the national finals of Las, Vegas Kacy fell on the Second obstacle. In 2017s Season 9 of American Ninja Warrior Kacy KC competed in the San Antonio city qualifier finals. Failed in the finals but cause of her good performance was qualified in the city finals under the new rules of the show.
In season 9 of ANW Kacy announced her retirement from the show.
Professional wrestling
By WWE On their WWE performance centre, Kacy Received a tryout on January 4th 2017. On August 27th on the Mae Young Classic WWE announced that Kacy signed a contract with WWE. It was officially announced on January 18th 2018 that Kacy reported at the WWE performance centre. On April 19th Kacy made her debut in the ring at an NXT live event in Sanford, Florida against Reina Gonzalez.
Kacy Continued appearing in the year 2018 on NXT and house shows. In the second episode of Mae Young Classic broadcasted on September 12th, Kacy made her televised debut in a winning effort against Reina in the first round match but on Episode 5 Kacy, unfortunately, lost in the second round to Rhea Ripley Kacy made her main roster debut on January 7th 2019 entering in Royal Rumbl at 19th number and lasting in the ring for 10:45 before she was eliminated by Ripley.
By September 2019, there was news that Kacy had resigned from professional wrestling and WWE because of a back injury she suffered from. In an episode of NXT as a surprise entrant in a women’s battle royal Kacy returned on 15th January 2020. Later on in an interview, she told that she went away for a while because she had doubts if she wanna continue professional wrestling or not.
Kacy started to work along with Kayden Carter as a tag team in September. In the 2021 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament they participated and won against Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm in the quarterfinals but in the semifinals they lose against Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. On the February 24th episode of NXT Kacy lose to Li and got her leg injured.
In 2021, Kayden Carter entered the Women’s Dusty Rhodes tournament and collaborated with her. They lost in the semifinals to Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. The team then feuded with Xia Li and Tian Sha. Next year they featured her with Kacy Catanzaro on NXT television.
In the year 2022 they took part in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic there they won against Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley but lose against Lay Lee Ray and Io Shirai in Semifinals. Kacy’s ring name changed from Kacy Catanzaro to Katana Chance in April. In a fatal four-way tag team elimination match Chance and Carter won the Vacant Tag Team titles, in the last elimination Toxic Attraction on the August 2nd episode of NXT and Kacy marked her first professional championship.
Royal Rumble
She also competed on the television sports show American Ninja Warrior and became the first woman to complete a City Qualifiers course and the first woman to complete a City Finals course. After signing with WWE, she competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic and performed in the 2019 Royal Rumble match.
Name Change
She has come up recently for her name change on WWE NXT 2.0. It was announced earlier that Catanzaro along with Kay Lee Ray would be having their names changed in the promotion. A digital exclusive segment from the latest episode told that she is now named Katana Chance.

In 2019 Kacy, in the PWI Female 100 ranked No. 63 out of the top 100 female wrestlers.
