Early life
Leonard was born on 29th June 1991 in Los Angeles, California, where he was also raised. His father’s name is Mark Leonard and his mother is Kim Leonard.
College Career
He studied at ‘Canyon Springs High School,’ & Later on, he studied at ‘Martin Luther King High School.’ Leonard played for his school basketball team.

In 2009, he joined ‘San Diego State University,’ and started his amateur career in his freshman year. He joined the university basketball team, ‘The Aztecs,’ and made a 25-9 record, with a win in the ‘Mountain West Conference tournament. He played his two seasons at the university, and entered the ‘2011 NBA Draft.’ He was selected as the 15th overall pick by the ‘Indiana Pacers,’ but was traded to ‘San Antonio Spurs.’
In the 2012-13 season, he was selected to play for the ‘BBVA Rising Stars Challenge.’ He led the ‘Spurs’ to ‘NBA Finals,’ where they played against ‘Miami Heat.’ In the game, he averaged 14.6 points and 11.1 rebounds. Leonard then set a career-high of 38 points, in a loss to ‘Phoenix Suns in 2017.’ In the ‘2017 NBA All-Star Game,’ Leonard was named as the starter for the ‘Western Conference team.
