Career
Nicolas had an excellent college tennis career which he played for the University of California. He also took part in the ITF circuit during his college career. He become a professional in 2019 but after that period he become inactive caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. But he again progressed to regular performance on the ATP Challenger Tour during the second half of the 2021 season.
He won his first Challenger title at the 2022 Braga Open. After this achievement, he reached the top 200 at world No. 188 which he achieve on 20th February 2023. After that at the third Challenger final at the 2023 Chennai Open Challenger where he lost to Max Purcell.

He is a Spanish-American and was born in New York City. Very early in his career, he moved to London and there he studied at the Ibstock Place School in Roehampton, which he completed in 2015. He become trained at Dukes Meadows in Chiswick and represented Spain in junior events. After that, he again moved to the United States. He also played rugby and soccer at a growing age.
Moreno de Alboran was also a college tennis player who played for UC Santa Barbara. There he was highly successful and ranked among the top 10 college players in the country during his senior year. He studied Environmental Science in his college. He won his first Challenger title at the 2022 Braga Open.
