Lilia Vu was born 14th October 1997 is an American professional golfer. She is an LPGA Tour player who rose to number one in the Women’s World Golf Rankings in 2023. Apart from this she also became LPGA Tour Player of the Year after winning four titles including two majors at the 2023 Chevron Championship and 2023 Women’s British Open.

Early Life
Lilia also made a series of successful careers as the U.S. national team member who won the 2018 Curtis Cup. Along with this, she won the 2018 Espirito Santo Trophy in Ireland with Jennifer Kupcho. After she won the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup at Evian Resort Golf Club which was organized in France.
Previously at the 2014 AJGA Girls Championship she was runner-up and won the 2016 Women’s Southern California Amateur Championship. She was solo third at the SCGA Women’s Amateur Championship and stands third at the Canadian Women’s Amateur.
She then enrolled at UCLA in 2015. & was awarded 2016 Pac-12 Conference Freshman of the Year, After that in 2018 she was WGCA Player of the Year, Pac-12 Conference Golfer of the Year, along with Honda Award finalist. Lilia was also a three-time WGCA First Team All-American and All-Pac 12 performer, who ranked first on the all-time UCLA career-winning list with eight individual titles.
Lilia played in the U.S. Women’s Open and the ANA Inspiration at the 2018 ANA Inspiration where she was the low amateur with a score of 285 (−3). She was number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a total of 31 weeks in the 2018 and 2019 season. Her ranking changed when she turned professional in January 2019.

Professional Life
She became a pro in January 2019 and finished T27 at the inaugural LPGA Q-Series to earn a position for the 2019 LPGA Tour, where she made one cut in nine starts.
After that In 2021, she won three titles on the Symetra Tour and achieved the top 250 in the Women’s World Golf Rankings for the first time.
After winning at the Garden City Charity Classic, the Twin Bridges Championship and the Four Winds Invitational, she also won the 2021 Potawatomi Cup and bonus prize money. She then finished the season first on the money list, winning Symetra Tour Player of the Year honours and earning her LPGA Tour card for 2022.
