Elizabeth Szokol was born and grew up in Winnetka, Illinois, a Chicago suburb with her parents Joseph Szokol and Pam Szokol. Elizabeth has 2 siblings, a brother William Szokol and a sister Kimberly Szokol. When she was 12 she had her knee surgery after playing softball and tennis. With the time she was recovering from her injury she discovered golf. And her love and curiosity for golf made her take it to 14.
In the year 2010 in the Illinois state championship, Elizabeth led her high school team. Elizabeth became the women’s Amateur champion in 2012. Elizabeth went to Northwestern University between 2011 and 2014. She helped the Wildcats tie for first and claimed a share of the first Big Ten Conference title in program history In the 2013 Big Ten Championship. For her junior year, she transferred to the University of Virginia and continued her game. In her senior year, she was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Golf All–Academic Team.

After High School, she started playing golf for Northwestern University & played in eight events in her freshman year. She then finished the season with a 76.70 average three rounds of par or better. Szokol helped the university tie for first and win the first conference title in program history. She then transferred to the University of Virginia for her junior year. After that, she completed her university career and was named an honourable mention All-American by the WGCA.
Professional career
Elizabeth joined the Symetra Tour in 2017 and Har’s professional career began. In her Rookie Season, she recorded six top -10 finishes with a runner-up result at Four Winds Invitational. Also, she recorded seven top – 10 finishes with her first professional victory at the IOA Invitational, there finishing the game 4 strokes ahead of Pajaree Anannarukam in the second position. She finished in the 4th position on the Symetra Tour official money list so she could get membership in the LPGA Tour 2019.
In the year 2021, Elizabeth recorded her 3 top 10 finishes Along with being runner-up at the marathon classic in Ohio, and 3rd 8 the Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey, after that she for the first time rose her ranking into the top 100 in women’s World Golf. In the LPGA Tour money list, she finished 44th in the season.
